Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES BRUCE JOPLING It is with great sorrow that the family of C. Bruce Jopling announces his passing on Friday, January 19, 2001, at the age of 80 years. Bruce was predeceased by his father Charles, mother Bobbi, sister June and his daughter Roberta Monaster. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years, Phyllis, his son Richard, his son-in-law Douglas Monaster and his beloved grandchildren, Jeff and wife Carla and Jennifer; many beloved in-laws, aunts, cousins and a host of friends. He was born in Winnipeg on July 8, 1920, and lived there most of his life. He served in the RCAF from 1940 to 1945. Upon retirement, he relocated to Lac du Bonnet. There he made many good friends which he enjoyed immensely. He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 164 and the Pioneer Club. There he spent his time floor curling, playing cards and playing bingo. He will be sadly missed by his wife and family. Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held on Tuesday, January 23, at 11:00 a.m. at the Legion Hall in Lac du Bonnet, Man., with Rev. Brian Rountree officiating. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed In the arms of the angels, we love you.
